Financial statements

2021/22 was a year of recovery, stability and growth for the Canadian Cancer Society. We ended the year in a strong financial position, enabling us to amplify the impact of donations for people affected by cancer in Canada and prepare for future challenges and opportunities.

Building on the proactive financial planning and transformative organizational change necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, and guided by a bold strategic plan, we continued our relentless pursuit of innovation. We continued to pursue new digital technologies and evolve our fundraising approach to enhance donor experience, deepen relationships and engage new audiences.

We couldn’t have achieved this without our dedicated community of staff, volunteers, donors and partners, and we are deeply grateful for their support.

Together, we can change the future of cancer forever.
